At Market Pulse, you will be the champion of our user's needs and a key driving force for product, marketing and content team
Key Responsibilities / Skills
Define a strategic research direction, producing high quality primary and secondary research that will yield durable insights
Execute qualitative and quantitative studies that address both user behaviour and attitudes
Creating discussion guides and leading open-ended, contextual conversations to help generate answers to key questions
Conduct research using a wide variety of methods, and interpret analysis through the lens of UX, HCI, and social science
Generate insights that both fuel ideation/strategy and evaluate designs
Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
Evaluating product directions through users to drive strategic company direction
Activate research findings throughout the entire product design cycle, leading to innovative and outstanding products for our customers that are fueled by a clear understanding of customer needs, habits, behaviours, and beliefs
Key Requirements
Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in anthropology, sociology, communication, market research, information science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in applied product research, market research, UX research etc
Experience:
Hands-on experience conducting user research and experience with innovative methodologies ethnographic research, interviews, workshops, focus groups, etc
A strong working knowledge of research methods including experimental design, data analyses, and data synthesis
Quantitative skills to synthesize and analyze research findings
Strong storytelling ability to bring research conclusions to life for the broader team
